Expanded summer youth basketball camps and league at Supreme Courts Basketball
Supreme Courts Basketball announced expansions in training camps and exciting leagues for Summer 2022.
Supreme Court Basketballone of the largest indoor basketball courts in Chicago, has announced plans to expand its high school camps and leagues for the summer of 2022, a commodity for basketball enthusiasts and those looking to turn pro.
Summer basketball programs, also known as summer scrimmages, are designed for the development of players interested in gaining significant playing experience. The camps and leagues are ideal for players in the summer months! All interested players have to do is sign up and show up. Teams will be selected once all players are present. The Coaches Supreme Court will officiate, coach and oversee all summer scrimmage games.
The summer scrimmages take place on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings during the summer months. Boys and girls in grades 3 to 8 are welcome to participate in the program. Aside from the summer scrimmages, summer has a few exciting tournaments including fan favorites such as Jumpstart Mini Camp, Illinois Attack Summer Camp for Boys, Illinois Attack 3rd Annual Girls Camp, Rising Stars Skills and Strength Camp, Elite Attack Shooting Academy program, the Elite Ladies Attack Camp for young girls and the most popular Dynasty Skills Academy program for young girls and boys. Each summer program and game is designed to help develop young players’ game while providing exciting opportunities to play basketball in a professional environment.
Supreme Courts has over the years been responsible for churning out some of the brightest stars in the sport of basketball. Many of the young players have gone on to playing college level basketball and even at the professional level.
A Supreme Courts basketball coach explained the philosophy behind the summer basketball camps and leagues held for youth “Our goal is to encourage every player to be their best on the pitch while also teaching them life skills like honesty, teamwork, confidence, hard work, communication, respect for others and critical thinking.”
One of the parents whose children play on the pitch said: “When I picked up my daughter on Friday, she said she had a lot more energy in the practice. She felt like she was jumping higher, was faster and had played really well. Children learn through their pain and come to work better and harder. “
